MIAMI, FL (July 27, 2017) – Trump National Doral® Miami today announced a new partnership with The Rick Smith Golf Academy. Recognized as one of the top golf schools in the U.S., Smith’s elite team will bring world-class instruction to South Florida’s premier golf destination. Serving golfers of all abilities, including resort guests, club members and the public, the academy will provide a wide range of offerings: private lessons, multi-day golf schools, small group clinics, on-course playing lessons, video analysis and juniors programming. The Rick Smith Golf Academy will move into the former site of the Jim McLean Golf School in fall/winter 2017.
Rick Smith has achieved great success in the golf industry as a teacher, designer and communicator. His skills as a great teacher have afforded Smith the opportunity to coach some of the most accomplished golfers in the world who have collectively won eight major golf championships, including Phil Mickelson, Lee Janzen, Rocco Mediate and Jack Nicklaus. Rick has also hosted his own golf instructional television programs and done color commentary, which have aired on the Golf Channel, ESPN, TSN and FOX Sports.
