[Turnberry, Scotland, June 20th, 2016] – The iconic Trump Turnberry Scotland officially relaunches on June 24th, alongside the eagerly awaited unveiling of a new Golf Academy which will include a True Spec Golf fitting studio.  A first in the UK, TSG Turnberry will be set against one of the most scenic backdrops in golf, featuring the Isle of Arran, the world famous Turnberry lighthouse and the Ailsa Craig.

The new TSG Turnberry location is the newest in an impressive list of TSG locations worldwide, and will provide golfers custom club fitting using state-of-the-art technology. With over 30,000 possible combinations of shafts and heads, golfers will receive recommendations for the best custom-built clubs for their individual swing in order to improve their overall performance. The fitters, builders, and management at TSG all have a deep passion for the game, and it clearly shows in the work that they do.

Director of Golf at Trump Turnberry, Ricky Hall:

“It’s been a very exciting period for Trump Turnberry in over the last eight months, with the transformation of the Ailsa course and the renovation of the hotel. I am thrilled that Turnberry are partnering with True Spec Golf as we relaunch our Golf Academy offering. They will bring a high end, custom fitting experience to our members and guests that they won’t be able to find anywhere else in the UK.”

TSG CEO Hoyt McGarity:

“We couldn’t be happier to open our first UK studio at such an iconic recognizable golf destination.  We look forward to offering members and guests of Trump Turnberry our world class customer fitting services.”

Turnberry has long been described as a ‘jewel in the crown’ of Ayrshire, Scottish and the world of golf.  July 2014 brought a new dawn for Turnberry when Mr. Donald J. Trump purchased the property. On the advice of the Royal & Ancient, Mr. Trump appointed renowned golf course architects Mackenzie & Ebert to complete a series of dramatic but sympathetic changes to all 18 holes of the Ailsa Championship golf course.
