Accounts Payable Specialist

Work Location: Scottsdale, AZ Headquarters Office
Division/Department Accounting Department
Reports to: Corporate Controller
Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Process 3 way P.O. matching invoices
  • Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Process check requests
  • Audit and process credit card bills
  • Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly
  • Prepare and perform check runs
  • 1099 maintenance
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assist with other projects as needed
  • Any other duties as assigned


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Must have strong work ethics
  • Must be well organized and prioritizing

Customer Service

Work Location: Scottsdale, AZ Headquarters Office

Reports to: Director of Fitting & Sales
Job Type: Full Time, Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with answering Toll Free True Spec Telephone line

  • Manage and maintain True Spec Golf “CustomerService@” email address

  • Provide proactive customer order information which involves coordinating with production department

  • Coordinate special customer requests (such as special shipping requests, etc.)

  • Facilitate Warranty/Repair return process for any damaged orders

  • Organize and follow-up on post fitting customer satisfaction surveys

  • Integrate with overall Customer Service model for True Spec Golf and work closely with Scheduling Coordinator/ any other customer service associate

  • Maintain Accurate Call Log for all calls received into the main switchboard


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, and associates
  • Excellent computer and technology proficiency
  • Must be able to work under pressure and interact with high-net-worth customer base, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

Club Builders

Work Location: Scottsdale AZ, Headquarters Office
Job Type: Full Time

True Spec Golf is looking for experienced, detail oriented golf club builders to join our team. The ideal candidate has a great understanding of the various aspects associated with building a golf club. The ability to translate specifications from fitter into a precisely built club is extremely important.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and comprehend golf club specifications (length, frequency, etc.)
  • Ensure that all components are present and correct
  • Building of components to precisely match specifications from the fitting
  • Competent in using tools such as drills, presses, clamps, torches, etc.
  • Maintain detail documentation of the build for future reference
  • Communication with fitter and/or lead builder with any issues that arise during the build process

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Previous golf club building experience required
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours), squat, reach, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High School Diploma

Club Finishers

Work Location: Scottsdale AZ, Headquarters Office

Required Education: High School or Equivalent
Required Experience: Golf Industry – 1 year

True Spec Golf is looking for a candidate to join our team as a golf club finisher. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, self motivator. This candidate will be responsible for the final check and finishing touches of clubs that come out of the shop before going to shipping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and comprehend specifications related to golf clubs (loft and lies, grip size/orientation, etc)
  • Ensure that all components are present and correct
  • Proper placement of grips, stickers and ensure that club is free of any nics or dings and is clean
  • Final check that specs of clubs are correct (loft and lies, proper grips, etc.)
  • Maintain detail documentation of the build for future reference
  • Communication with builder of any aspects of the build that are incorrect at final check
  • Assist with any other functions of the build shop as necessary

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Previous golf experience is preferred
  • Must be good with hands and mechanically inclined
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours), squat, reach, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Work Location: Scottsdale, AZ Headquarters Office
Division/Department Accounting Department
Reports to: Corporate Controller
Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Position is a dynamic one which requires a positive and proactive attitude, good learner, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both paper and over the phone, as he or she will frequently deal with higher levels of management.

  • Prepare affiliate invoices on a bi-monthly basis
  • Prepare GolfTEC invoices on a daily basis
  • Prepare shipping invoices on a monthly basis
  • Make daily collection calls
  • Conduct account research and analysis
  • Prepare and maintain various reports
  • Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
  • Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues such as invoice discrepancies or questions after proper investigation
  • Process credit card payments for customers and provide send customer’s receipts
  • Possess excellent attention to details and must be able to perform tasks accurately
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Possess top level skills in customer service.


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer and technology proficiency
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
